I collaborated with Madison Square Park Conservancy, Flatiron NoMad Partnership, and local restaurants on behalf of the Green Restaurant Association to launch NYC’s First Green Dining Destination™—a community of sustainable restaurants in NYC’s Flatiron and NoMad neighborhoods. These restaurants, all certified by the GRA, exemplify sustainable dining practices, attracting eco-conscious diners from around the world.
I played a pivotal role in coordinating with partners and restaurants to organize a high-profile launch event, execute social media campaigns, and oversee the development of marketing assets to promote the destination. This project involved:
Event Planning: Organized the launch event, including invitations, attendee coordination, and event materials, including posters, streetlamp banners, and more.
Digital Strategy: Created a dedicated business-to-business (B2B) website and a business-to-consumer (B2C) website, and worked with partners and restaurants to add pages on their sites.
Restaurant Marketing Materials: Designed and produced marketing materials, including posters, napkin inserts, and digital assets to support restaurant promotions.
Media & PR: Wrote and distributed press releases and managed media outreach.
Social Media, Blogs, and Newsletter: Developed social media campaigns for the GRA, participating restaurants, and partners; wrote blog posts; and created newsletter announcements to promote the destination.
Partner & Restaurant Communication: Maintained regular communication with partners and restaurants through email updates and presentations.
